Track IR not recognizing demo

Featured Replies

Am just getting set up with the demo and so far, I can't get Track IR to recognize it. It runs fine with XP9 and FSX. Is this a known problem? Or just something on my system? Or am I missing something obvious (wouldn't be the first time)? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed.Best,Alan

Alan,Not sure what you're doing wrong, but it certainly is working on my setup.I don't know if this will help, but there is a plug-in for X-Plane that does 6DOF. I'm not even sure you would need that though.

Alan,Did you enable 3d cockpit from the views menu?

OK,This is the way to do it. Go to the settings menu, then enter the joystick and equipment menu, go to the equipment tab and tick TrackIR head-tracker option. That should do the trick. Please disregard the prior posts I made.

Thanks, Airlinejets - that did it.The sad thing is that I knew about that setup option - used it a few weeks ago when I reloadex XP9 - then totally forgot about it this time. Sad but predictable.Heading farther into the demo now...Best,Alan

Perhaps you could help me out too? I've got TIR 5.1 setup but in XP10 I can only slide left and right, I can't actually look to the left and right.nm, got it. You have to enable TIR 6DOF profile within TIR software and also the cockpit view
