Carenado Cessna 337H Skymaster review by Ray Marshall

Recommended Posts

Wow, what a lot of flak Shocked.gif Thank you Ray for possibly the best and most comprehensive review of an excellent aircraft - not perfect but good enough for me with 5.2 real life C336 hours, many years ago - wish the C336 "flew" as good as this one LOL.gif

Ray Marshall is a wonderful writer and author. His articles could easily be published in PC Pilot or Computer Pilot Magazines. My only FSX GA aircraft are PMDG's 1900. I do own FSD's 337D and H for FS9 but rarely fly FS9 anymore. I'm hoping to make the Carenado a xmas present to myself this month!

I will put in a good word for you the next time I see Santa.I have the FSX version of the FSD 337D/H. It was quite advanced in its day, especially all the extra maintenance stuff and the extensive documentation. You will be amazed at the advancements between what you have and what you may get from Santa. I am hoping Carenado will put an O2-A version of their Skymaster in my stocking. Thanks for the kind words.Ray

Nice review-congrats!I looked into getting one before I got my Baron 8 years ago. I really liked the plane-then brought my wife out to look at it.She took one look and said no way-I don't like how it looks...that was the end of it..she was ok with the Baron but actually had the most emotional reaction to a Cirrus-go figure...

Well, at least you have a wife that likes airplanes. I keep looking for a filthy rich one that owns a bar on a golf course but works as a Gulfstream check pilot for fun. Just kidding, I have a wonderful wife that is glad I am flying a desk rather than being gone and sleeping alone in a strange hotel.Ray
