November 28, 201114 yr Just flown into EGLL, had a wonderful flight and A/land too, but landed half way down the runway.I suspect this is because I am using Aerosoft's payware scenery, not the default, but not any up to date navigraph package - but I'm not sure. Or is it one of these "creeping" magnetic north changes I have read about? Any thoughts, please? Paul Skol
November 28, 201114 yr I wonder was it an ILS approach? The GS antennae location was correct? Possible tailwind? i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
November 28, 201114 yr Did you land using the G/S or using the G/P? Many times (for me) I choose the G/S (ILS) but the airplane chooses to go into G/P (RNAV) mode witch makes the aircraft come down on the wrong point. I then have to play around with the MCP buttons to be able to arm the G/S. I warn you, they look the almost the exact same way. This is my forum post http://forum.avsim.net/topic/353556-failure-or-bug/ exept that in my case the aircraft came way to short. If it is the scenery then I can't help you.Manfred Manfred G. Ships are cooler that you think.
November 28, 201114 yr Aerosoft EGLL is very old! It is one of the first sceneries they released when they were just starting to release FSX Titles. There were also some serious performance issues as well as issues with the runways not displaying until you were almost on top of them. As they released other sceneries they gradually improved and today they have some of the best out there. Examples: Anchorage X and Keflavik X.If you want the ultimate EGLL scenery and one that is updated and fairly new. UK2000 is the best! EGLL, EGKK and EGCC are awesome and there are others.UK2000 EGLL Scenery Here: http://secure.simmar...xtreme-v2.phtmlOther UK2000 Titles Here: http://secure.simmar...keywords=UK2000 Paul Deemer
