Anybody purchase the Neuroflight Cessna-Reims F406 for fs9/fsx with luck?

Featured Replies

I purchased this plane yesterday and sent two e-mails on no download link after purchase but no luck at all.Has anybody had any luck with this company?

I was looking at maybe purchasing this aircraft until I read of your problems. No doubt you have read the review on the previous version - http://www.avsim.com.../F406/Reims.htm -it seems that the instructions have to be followed to the letter, as most instructions do anyway, perhaps someone out there has an answer. I will now reconsider a purchase. Would appreciate any updated news you have.Echofox

I purchased this yesterday and received the download link straight away. The model itself it very basic. The instruments are a little blurry, but I find that it flies quite well and for $16 it fills a gap in my GA hangar that I wanted to fill for some time.I am a huge fan of Carenado products, and this plane does not even come close to Carenado standards, but I just found myself flying it around all day yesterday and had huge amounts of fun with it.

I purchased the older FS9 version some years ago. The product was only marginally better than a lot of freeware offerings. Plus there was a tedious licensing system that meant when I upgraded my computer I had to request a new license key from ther vendor. This resulted in unpleasant emails suggesting that I was a software pirate. I will never deal with this guy again!

I received an email with a download link straight away after paying with PayPal. The email stated that the link would only be available for an hour I think...Once I downloaded the compressed file I simple ran the exec file - No license required. Extremely straight forward!

Does this new version have a 2D panel? Can't see any on the screenshots.

I finally received a e-mail my for the download link. The problem which they stated was my e-mail was not allowing for the return or link to be sent to my mail.Like another poster reported the fs9 version is not very detailed.Although the screens shots show reflective vc glass, which the fs9 version doen't even get this feature.I own a very powerdul system and only use fs9 so I can not comment on the fsx version. The plane is ok ,not anything to rave about.

Thank you guys, I defiantly won't be buying it, from the comments made it's obviously not as the advert says therefore not worth time or money, my personal opinion.Echofox
