December 5, 201114 yr Hi everyone!I'm really reluctant to shell out $80 for yet another version I will use a couple of times, and then delete it. I can't remember how to setup a hat switch for panning in the VC. Is that possible with the demo? Bob Bob Prince
December 5, 201114 yr yes, you can configure all your axis and buttons. * 2010 MacPro, 27' display * Snow Leopard * XP10 *
December 5, 201114 yr There's an axis page where you move your axis on whatever joystick the computer sees. You look for the movement on the screen, click the dropdown box and select the desired axis. The buttons page, you hit the button or move the hat switch in the desired direction, click the action you wish to assign to it and move on to the next button.VERY simple, plus the benefit versus the other sims is that you can assign multiple buttons to the same action. The others require you to set the button you wish to the action you select. Button to action versus action to button makes customization a pretty big thing. But, the downside is that it doesn't support profiles. Would be nice to save a profile for the C172 or GA in general and another for the heavies and a 3rd for military. My only gripe in this regard. December 5, 201114 yr @fvapres: http://forums.x-plan...&showfile=12551 thanks for that...one thing I love about XP is that if there is a need or a strong desire, 3rd party will come up with something...sometimes culling the wheat from the chaff isn't easy tho... Aaron

If yes, can it be setup that when in the cockpit you use your hat switch to look around your cockpit and when in the outside view (like shift-8), use the hat switch to move the camera around aircraft? Thanks.
