December 11, 201114 yr Hi,I suppose there probably is a stupid solution to my problem that I'm just overlooking, but my HUGS won't display anything, its just a piece of virtual glass(or whatever it is)Doing KATL-KICT, and just set the HUGs up for landing, A III arm is set.Any help?
December 11, 201114 yr Have you checked in your CDU menu, that it´s assigned?(I guess you already have it set up for landing on your Pedestal)/ Leffe Leif A Mikkelsen **********************
December 11, 201114 yr 3 possible reasons for this:1) check the HGS panel on the pedestal & make sure the CLR button is not illuminated. It clears the display.2) rotate the HGS brightness knob (near combiner hinge) to make sure it wasn't inadvertently dimmed.3) if neither of those fixes it then you have a corrupt dll.xml file. Attach that file to a support ticket and pmdg will fix it for you. Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64
December 11, 201114 yr Author Hi,Ok, so neither fix worked, so where exactly is the dll.xml file? I'll start a support ticket
December 11, 201114 yr First enable "show hidden files & folders" by going to control panel/appearance & personalization/folder options (that's how with win7 anyway)Then browse to c:/users/(your username)/appdata/roaming/Microsoft/fsxYou'll find dll.xml in that folderFor xp or vista the path is slightly different, but providing youve enabled show hidden files a search for dll.xml will also take you to it.
