I want to add a tweak but i have thiscfgx2.jpgSo whtch one do i adjust? I assum there is 2, so 1 can be used as a backup? So if i wanted to remove the config for a new rebuild, do i just delete the one with .CFG extension? ( i guess the the other .TXT extension is for a back-up?)Thanks! :)

Regards

Easy, your 2nd file is actually fsx.cfg.txt, you have hide extension for known file types enabled. The first one is the correct file, fsx.cfg

Probably because you have the file extensions hide in windows explorer. As you don´t see the file extensions (.cfg or .txt) in your screen above. For your tweaks use the file with the type "CFG File" and you´re good to go.

OK Gents , thanks alot.Just to be sure..Ive uploaded my cfg to venetubo.com, and downloaded the tweaked file...so to apply it, i need to cut the original ''CFG File'' and paste the new one back in, correct?

Copy the original fsx.cfg to the same folder, using a rt-click on the file, left-click on "copy", then rt-click again, this time left-clicking on "paste". This will give you the backup copy. Then paste in the new one.To see the file types, open Windows Explorer - > Tools -> View:uncheck "Hide Empty drives", "Hide Extensions" ane "Hide Protected Files"
