RealScenery Island of Oahu Enhanced For X-Plane-High Altitude

Featured Replies

Hi folks,Just a quick follow-up. I completely forgot to provide a look at the package from the higher altitudes as I was engrossed in enjoying the VFR test flights. These are from a quick test flight this morning with then-current weather at FL250: And a quick flip over to night-time:I think it looks lovely from high altitude as well. It was quite a shock leaving PHNL to the east and turning around over Molokai to re-approach Oahu as the difference between the stock Molokai and RS Enhanced Oahu is stark. The night lights look great from altitude as well.Apologies for neglecting the jet-set. Have a happy holiday season!CheersTed**edit**The clouds are NOT stock. REXPlane at work there in case anyone wondered. The aircraft is a delightful and quite sophisticated AN-148 freeware aircraft http://an148xp.ucoz.ru/. If you get it....make sure you watch the tutorial videos. Even the Russian language ones will be of help as there is no POH I could find. Also I did experience a slight drop in frame rates-I would put this down to combining the plane model, REXPlane, and the scenery package. We are only talking a few FPS...nothing serious but I figured I should mention it.**edit**As mentioned in the piece all testing done in XPv9.7.

Awesome! Wish they offered the entire hawaiian islands though!
