I have buyed the new AS2012 and I am wondering something...Everytime I load a flight plan to follow.. it ask me if I want to install the AS2012 Graphics....Do I have to install those graphics everytime I make a flight? It is a little boring to install everytime. Or it just install all textures and AS2012 just pick up automatically the right textures depending on the weather, so I only have to choose one install?Also in Graphics tab, there is a button Wx Influenced that start to install textures.. But again don't know if I have to do it once.. or everytime I fly.It would be interesting to make an update in future to install all textures and just load them when needed, if it is not done this way.

+1 !another question related. When the sim is in DWC mode, which textures and themes load, the ones from our created custom themes ?

Under WX Options on the General Options Tab, if You uncheck the box that says Post-Plan graphics install prompt, it wont ask you about the graphics install everytime you load a flight plan.You can install graphics everytime or make your own theme, or even use one of the preset themes, and install them once and use the same ones everytime.The choice is yours.

Mmmm the idea is to install the graphics everytime.. because it is not the same flying in frozen runways that in summer... but the idea is to make all without any disturbance to the final user. So you load the plan.. and Active Sky just loads the correct textures that was installed before for that flight... not asking anything (so no need to copy anything)I think it would be better that way. But if it is not possible to do.. then no problem.... I will go with it.. like it is.

you can create snapshots. After you file your plan the prompt asks if you want a snapshot or create an as2012 theme. if you have created themes ahead of time it is much quicker.EB Wallace
