Thanks Jim fyi been out of commission my fsx rig is down decided to add 990x chip and it did not go so well so just going to build high end i7-2700k and be done with it so see you guys in a bit.

I got some thermal paste on gigabyte ud7 board socket after gigabyte tech support thoght I should take it out and try again so i bought a ud5 because I cant find a ud7 didnt want to rebuild my computer so I thought I would get a close mb but thtas not working either hearing that asus is the way to go with an 990x chip and not willing to do that so back it goes and try to sell my 990x and 970 chips anyone interested ? good prices anyway ordered newegg gigabyte x79-ud5 with i7-2700k and 16 gig of vengence ram that should cook, anyway out of buisness for a bit oh well live and learn the hard way spent 1,000 dollars and nothing to show for it. lol
