I'm relying on EZCA in my NGX - without it, I would virtually be lost. It has never failed me - never.Are you running 32bit or 64bit OS? And which one?This is without a doubt a memory issue, the question is which one - I don't think it's VM. Since you have 8GB RAM, try disabling VM completely.

In that case, you should have no OOMs.It also doesn't sound like you have an OOM problem - more like a problem with FSX directly.I suggest (before we say PSU or temperature problem, which also could be the case): delete FSX.cfg and run a new one through bojote tool (again), disable VM in windows completely.Make sure highmemfix is in there and then retry your situation.Also Coretemp or Realtemp, what do they show for CPU temp? What does CPUZ show while FSX is running - what vcore and clock?You gotta give us more to go on...

OK KostaDeleted FSX.cfg and used Bojote tool several times before. Just done it again.Have not disabled VM yet, don't know how you do that. attached are sceenshots of coretemp and CPUz.Thanks for your help mate.Can't see that highmemfix in the cfg.

Go to System in CP, Tab Advanced, under Performance press Settings, Tab Advanced, Virtual Memory, press Change, disable automatic managing, for each drive set No paging file (on the left side in the windows, for each partition must say None), check after reboot.Are these reports of Coretemp and CPUZ while FSX is running (windowed will suffice)? Doesn't look anything wrong though - 3,5 is very low for 2500K, you should really do some 4.2-4.5 with it!And please put FSX.cfg into text, it's a pain looking through it when jpeg'ed.HIGHMEMFIX=1 goes into graphics section. Try that first.But what I ment was - on the fresh fsx.cfg run bojote tool - not several times, but once. It will put highmenfix into fsx.cfg automatically. This fsx.cfg is vanilla - no bojote here visible.

So did you test with this configuration now?And btw. set WideViewAspect=False to True, that is much better on widescreens and for NGX.You can now set your FSX settings to desired, but you should set test first with setting of 20fps and see if the system maintains it, especially with NGX.

This may sound silly to you, but...When was the last time you cleaned the inside of your computer case?I have water cooled everything in mine also, and running Win 64. About a month ago my FSX started doing the same things yours is doing. All my temperature monitoring apps said everything was OK. I took the cover off the case and there was enough bunny fuzz inside on everything to be a fire hazard. Easy for that to happen in colder winter months. Took a can of compressed air and blew out the inside of the case in my garage and it solved the problem.Heat develops in a lot of different ways in an enclosed case. If you haven't looked inside yours in a while and cleaned all the fuzz-junk off the components, fan openings, etc, do that too even if the other recommendations work here. Many FSX users would be very surprised that just cleaning out their case periodically will solve some problems.

Thanks for advice everyone. Kostas remedy worked, installed Bojote tweak and changed memory settings and now its fine !!

I find that with EZDOK the views get mixed up if I am to far from an airport to get a tower view. When that happens I will start cycling views using "s" and it all goes wonky. I have to then go back using "shift s" to get back in the cockpit with Track IR working again. Once I am in range of an airport everything is fine again. Generally happens over water. Not sure if this is related to your problem. You will definitely see graphics corruption with complex addons if you haven't applied the high memory fix.
