still the owner told me that the server download thingy said 10 people had downloaded it thats about 900 dollars pmdg lost there. He could have uploaded it to mediafire and then on the other computer downloaded it and not have given the link t others. But still thats 900 dollars pmdg lost that they could have right now. Everybody here is responsible for your own actions

That's not how pirating works. If any of this is true, even if 10 separate (discrete / independent) people downloaded, none of them would have bought the plane. So even if every part of this were true, PMDG did nose loose a penny. Stop making a mosquito look like a stallion.

Here's a thought: If access to a "free copy" of the NGX isn't provided anywhere, don't you think it stands to reason that 2,4,6, maybe 8, or all 10 thieves would have eventually had no choice but to buy the aircraft? Piracy does, in fact, hurt an already niche market. If only two of the ten pirates had purchased the add on, it would be two less stolen.
One post and it's on this. I'm the first to tell you, kids will be kids. God knows I did some stupid, irresponsible things as a 12-17 year old. The fact that they are tweens only hurts the case. No offense to honest 14 year olds (I wasn't one)! A break? It's illegal. $90 worth of software! There's no room for that among the honest community.

No, actually not. You need to understand the psychology of the pirate. Which is what those I TRIED TO USE A PROFANITY HERE - AREN'T I STUPID!s in the US government don't (reg. SPOA/PIPA). A pirate will almost never buy something just because he couldn't find it for free. He will just use something else that he can find for free. You are not familiar with these things and I'd guess it's because you're US based. I do. Until 5 years ago roughly I hadn't bought a single software. I know because I was one of them.

I hate to break it to you, but your psyche isn't necessarily a rule. I'm also not sure how someone being "US based" determines their comprehension of human behavior. In either case, you're smoking something if you are going to claim piracy doesn't hurt this market. In the flight school last week some idiot was boasting about trying to crack some obscure software (Apple editing?). Apparently he couldn't and ended up purchasing the software. So yeah... You're wrong.

anyway its our responsibility to catch pirates. not the governments. this is why this thread was started to post about these pirates and make them pay

As I recall one of the many responsibilities of the government is to catch pirates, civilians can help but it simply isn't their job to do this...For example if someone breaks out of jail, civilians can help track down that person but usually they can't arrest them on their own.

wrong sir the government doesnt have the power to catch them. thats why they wanted to pass sopa and pippa.

Not sure whose more of a A-Hole.. the US government or ex pirates? Also if what someone wants/needs is not avialiable for free the only option is to buy it. You say they will just jump on some other pirated plane but the reality is there would be no sub in the NGX situation. No other devs can even match the clearity, and funcunality of their software. If I go to get water in the kitchen and no water comes out and I'd need under your methods you would wait for water while I'd go buy a bottle water. Same thing here. If applied to your life in whole that mean you steal outright if could get away with it over buying something. If someone wanted the NGX to the point were they couldn't find they have to make the jump and buy it. Or instead bugging thier parents for junk gifts they have to ask for a add-on and not go on the kiddie bay. Witch I'm sure most pirates are younger kids adults in limited budgtes who want everything.
