(maybe something with a throttle but not a must)This is the wrong forum.The Logitech joysticks are very high quality and have "smooth" axes.-Great build quality and they last for many many years. I have 2 of them and they have been used extensively without any issue.

January 29, 201214 yr The Thrustmaster T16000 is a $38 (at Amazon) joystick with the superior technology of magnetic Hall Effect sensors instead of pots. IMHO, it's the best bang-for-the-buck in a general-use consumer joystick out there right now. It does have a single throttle slider (the throttle uses a pot, though).
