January 31, 201214 yr I noticed this small issue some time ago, maybe it was present from my first update (HF2 or 3) but the LCD meters display shows me cleartype fonts, and it is pretty unreal when I do the meter LCD self test. This is how I have it:But, as I told, I'm pretty sure it was good at the first installation.I never tried to fix it as it was not too much important, but, today I tried to fix it by installing the fonts inside the fsx/fonts folder. I also checked them (by opening) to see if there was a font for it, but I've found nothing.I must say that MCP, pressurization, and DUs fonts were ok, so the problem is only present with that panel. Before I'm going crazy with it, someone can tell me if it is something that changed with the various fixes or not?I re-installed some times after the first release, this to solve other problems, and I'm pretty sure I did a full clean installation for the service pack 1 or 1b. But the problem was present before, and remained after. So I think that re-installing will not help me.Before submitting na ticket for this small issue, I just ask here ;) Regards Andrea Daviero
January 31, 201214 yr Exit FSX and go to folder:X:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XFontsMark all font files and hit enter (or right click -> install). Restart FSX, check if it works. The fonts are one of the potensial bugs (both on the MCP and elsewhere) if you fail to install the NGX as an administrator.
