December 4, 20169 yr Yes, YBBN is a major frame killer!!!!! Usually around 15fps. Lucky if I get 23fps depending on where I am in the sky. My VAS still has another 1.8 Gb headroom remaining. Scenery Settings Level of Detail Radius - Small (when I fly in a real plane, you don't see so much detail in the distance anyways) Mesh - 75% Mesh Resolutio - 75% Texture Resolution - 100% Water Effects - Low 2x Scenery Complexity - Max Autogen - None (Orbx has enough detail to make autogen not necessary, so do not use it really) Ground Shadows - None (I use the aircraft shadow instead, better) Special Effects Detail - High I7 - 4.6MHz Hasswell Motherboard 16GB Ram GeForce 750Tii Graphics Card What helps alot is when frames go low. 1. Pause Simulator. 2. Save Flight to file (I use a file name like 01 Current Flight so it is at the top of the list) 3. Reload and reset I use buttons to do the save and rest so the whole process takes about <15 secs Somehow it improves frame rate by 5 - 8 frames.
