February 12, 201214 yr A new satellite based precision landing system called "Ground Based Augmentation System" (GBAS), which is said to be more accurate then the ILS system is being implemented on Airberlin's 737's at Bremen airport (To start). According to the story, it will allow approaches at varying angles of attack, reducing noise pollution in some areas, As well as making Precision landings possible in mountainous areas, where ILS can't be used.Ground Based Augmentation System Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
