February 18, 201214 yr Hi, I'd really like to get X-Plane 10, but the threshold is a bit too high at the moment. I just don't have the time to start fresh with a new sim unless I can get up to speed in a flash. So, does anyone know a good tutorial for X-Plane virgins? February 18, 201214 yr I have the same question. X-plane looks fabulous, but I have not managed to fly the Demo-plane. The manual only gives information about flying the Cessna, but not how to fly the Demo-plane in the Demo-setup. I guess something should happen when I move the throttle on my Ch-yoke?If I buy X-Plane is there more documentation then in the Demo-version?

February 21, 201214 yr Download the manual above. The demo version and the retail version of x-pane 10 is the same except you only get the scenery for the area around KSEA on the demo version.Sent from My Commodore Vic 20

Then your yoke will work as expected. And assign view modes (i.e.hat to panning etc). No time limit for these items...clock starts ticking when you actually fly/apply throttle etc.3-Fly Cessna as you normally would within the limits of a default aircraft.4-Post further questions as required. February 21, 201214 yr Thanks for the replies. I managed to fly the Cessna after learning to click on the correct icon, some calibration and assigning the brakes to the pedals. I am getting old. I even know what a Commodore Vic is.
February 21, 201214 yr I even know what a Commodore Vic is.I chuckled and am mildly embarrassed to admit my first PC games were Lemonade Stand and some sailing-based trading game on a TRS-.I'm pleased you are up and running. I'm off before the "I programmed HAL" crowd shows up with punch cards in hand :( AVSIM Staff ReviewerBush Is Good!
