February 21, 201214 yr I'm planning on getting back in to flight simming. I have an old X52 stick and throttle I want to use. I've got FSX on the way from Amazon. I want to purchase Eaglesofts CitationX but it has dual throttles and the X52 only has the one throttle. Is this going to cause me problems or will I have to use keyboard commands or click in the 2D/3D cockpit in order to operate each engine separately until take off. I would guess you would start up one engine set it to idle and start up the next and move on or will both throttles be linked to the X52.It's been a few years since I've flown FS9 but I think I also had problems with the throttle not going to full thrust or maybe it wouldn't cut the engines. Can you guys give me any heads up?

You'll control both aircraft throttles with the one X52's throttle. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
February 21, 201214 yr Author Thanks ZachLWI guess I was over thinking things.Would it be worth it to buy FSUIPC4 with this setup or will the demo work just fine? I'm thinking about adding some Saitek Rudders eventuallyNow I need to look at TrackIR 5 and see if it's worth it for me.Can't believe in 2012 we don't have VR glasses that tie in with a VC :(
February 21, 201214 yr FSUIPC provides support for a very accurate FADEC as well as a variety of configuration options that you may want. There a guide on our Downloads Page as well. :(
February 21, 201214 yr Moderator Thanks ZachLWI guess I was over thinking things.Would it be worth it to buy FSUIPC4 with this setup or will the demo work just fine?A registered (paid for) version of FSUIPC is required for the FADEC system of the Citation X v2.0 from Eaglesoft. The a/c will still work without FADEC system enabled of course, but it won't be as realistic! :( Fr.
