February 22, 201214 yr HiWhat is the keyword in the "exclude=" text to remove taxiways signs. "All" or "Objects" does not work.Any other way to do?ThanksGhiom
February 22, 201214 yr "All" certainly works for me.This was posted in a different post: <?xml version="1.0"?><FSData version = "9.0" xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="bglcomp.xsd" > <ExclusionRectangle latitudeMinimum = "N51 26.00" latitudeMaximum = "N51 30.00" longitudeMinimum = "W0 31.00" longitudeMaximum = "w0 22.00" excludeTaxiwaySignObjects = "TRUE"/></FSData> from:http://forum.avsim.n...-taxiway-signs/Hope this helps, Edited February 22, 201214 yr by tgibson Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
February 22, 201214 yr The problem probably is that taxi signs are bunched into groups of up to 20 or so. One is the "master" and that is the reference point which the exclude must cover. The rest in the "group" are set as a "bias" from the master and can't be individually exluded -- either the whole group is excluded or none.scott s..
February 23, 201214 yr As the post above stated, . . . by using ADE9X you can delete the offending sign(s). It will also allow you to drag and drop them to a new position - angle and edit them to reflect changes to taxi way designations.Mel
February 23, 201214 yr Hi.As in the other thread, to which T Gibson refers above, it's not always possible to exclude taxi signs using ADE. I never found out why but I suspect Scott may have the answer. If you intend to continue with modifying more airports, try the payware AFX.Regards,D Edited February 23, 201214 yr by Dave_Morgan
February 23, 201214 yr I think you will see that what ADE does is to create a small exclude all rectangle at every object and taxisign in the airport, and then place a new copy at the same location. Open a stock airport and compile with the option to save the xml file checked and you can go through the xml and see what it is doing.scott s..
