March 12, 200422 yr is there one big CSL pacakge out there that installs alot of CSL aircraft instead of having to install each one individualy? thanksadam
March 12, 200422 yr I only know there's a file in the avsim library to use PAI aircraft as the CSL, BUT, I've been searching a lot, and never found anything useable. I suggest waiting for the SB3.
March 12, 200422 yr What is the ETA on SB3? I am dying to be able to see the other multiplayer aircraft in FS again :)
March 12, 200422 yr Author The CSL file comes with SquarkBox.DO NOT use the PAI convertor that is available on AVSIM. It kills everybody elses frame rates.RegardsRussell Jourdain (NZL007/ZK-RHJ)
March 12, 200422 yr Can confirm Russell's commentYou should only install the original CSL file as other files can and will hamper other users online experience. As boring as it may sound we have to cope with the default CSL livery until the new SB3 model set is implemented.See the VATSIM and Squawkbox forums for more discussions about CSL.Cheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

It>kills everybody elses frame rates.>>Regards>Russell Jourdain (NZL007/ZK-RHJ)It's not a converter. It just adds them as an option, just like all the other VAs that have added to the csl structure. It's the same as if you added VIP2 and I didn't have VIP2.The "defect", if you will, is in SB. On the other hand a fix could be done. If SBRelay could do the lookup and if it cannot find the texture, it should load another plane that you choose that is frame rate friendly.End of discussion. 10700k / Gigabyte 3060
March 12, 200422 yr Author I sorry I got the name wrong. The problem is caused due to the way SB maps the aircraft. If the other players aircraft is not in your list then FS loads your current aircraft, thus causing the frame rate problem. The VIP2 aircraft are generally only mapped to the default CSL aircraft structure and so do not normally cause a problem.BTW - Check the SB and VATSIM forums for more discussion. There is a very good explanation by ANZ121.As I have responded this is obviously not the end of the discussion. Please - for the sake of other players on line PLEASE USE THE DEFAULT CSL OR VIP2 FILES.As I understand it SB3 does not have the same problems so please be patient.RegardsRussell Jourdain (NZL007/ZK-RHJ)
