March 27, 201214 yr Personally, I did not find the Nvidia forums all that helpful compared to here. They are useless... as usual.
March 28, 201214 yr I had this same BSOD. Fixed by rolling back to the 295.73 driver. I did a driver sweeper clean install. Everything seems to be working as normal now.
March 28, 201214 yr Say, could someone send me the file(s) I deleted? It's not that anything's broken, but since this deleting of the files brought nothing (as it was a spyware problem), I would like to restore them so that my sfc doesn't report any more errors. If anyone would be so kind, I need:(enable both hidden and system files)nvlddmkm.sys, version 6.1.7600.16385do a search for them in the windows folderNow, I also need the exact paths at which these are saved, if there are more than one of the vresion 16385.There shouldn't be more than about 5, especially not the 16385 version. Only version missing by the SFC is the 16385, so please just look out for that one.To make it simple:nvlddmkm.sys inC:Windowswinsxsamd64_nv_lh.inf_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_4a5c7d78e486512bImportant: It must be a Windows 7 x64 EnglishI wouldn't want to do a system restore, and I didn't backup (yeah, I know... stupid).
March 28, 201214 yr Author Sorry, Srdan, as I'm using the older 285 drivers, I've just checked my version and it's 8.17.12.8562, so I reckon this is no good for you Rick Almeida
March 28, 201214 yr Nah, if you didn't tinker with the system files, then you most likely have exactly what I need. I'll PM you...I also edited the post above. Check it out.
March 29, 201214 yr Thanks Rick, that did it! Just so you know: put the file in and that was it. No more errors! +1 Rep :Peace:
March 29, 201214 yr Author Hey, Srdan, glad to hear that news. That's what this community is all about, mainly, helping each other out asides from the flak one gets and sees from time to time one viewpoint differs from another. Rick Almeida
