February 29, 201214 yr Commercial Member Simple rule:Look at your flight distance - add 2200 lbs (1000 kg) per 100nm. Then add around 5500 lbs (2500 kg) for reserves. Add more if your alternate is further than 100 miles or so.That planner link isn't coming back - I don't know where the file is and it was for the old FS9 NG and not the NGX anyway.
