Hi as a regular buyer of Aerosoft Airports I am mostly happy although some can be heavy on performance.I am interested in buying German Airports 1http://www.shop.aero...anguage=englishIt contains 10 Airports for around £34 which does not seem to bad!

• Stuttgart
• Friedrichshafen
• Nurenberg
• Dresden
• Bayreuth
• Augsburg
• Egelsbach
• Innsbruck (A)
• Altenrhein (CH

but I just cannot find any reviews on it.So before I take the plunge I was hoping someone could give me an overall opinion on them?If comparing to Airports from Aerosoft such as Nice, Innsubruck, Hannover, Corfu, Antalya, Menorcaare they as good in1) quality in general2) performance / FPS or are they really hard on performance?or are they averaging £3-4 per Airport becuase they are not as good as Aerosoft's other AirportsThanks in adavance for any opinions / experiences

First off, officially they are only for FS9, so I have no idea if and how they work in FSX. Second, they are REALLY old. If memory serves me correct, they actually were one of the first published GAP for FS9. So don't expect quality anywhere near the above mentioned. No phototextures around the airport and regarding the overall quality, they are state of the art from 2005 or something like that.Except for Nuremberg, the other big ones are all sold in a new version. So my advice is to buy Mega Airport Munich, Stuttgart and Innsbruck. They also released Friedrichshafen in a new version a few days ago. Downside is, you have to buy them seperately. But the quality is really worth it, I guess you would be disappointed with the old GAP1 pack and I wouldn't pay 34 GBP for it...

German Airports 1 is for FS9, not FSX. Some of those airports are avaiable as seperate airports for FSX like Munich, LOWI, and StuttgartEdit: Posted same time as Max

And for that matter DONT buy GA 2 either, I bought it and recently got the "free upgrade" but the photo-real ground and taxiway/apron textures look EXTREMELY washed out. They almost look gray and Aerosoft doesn't include Mip Maps in those Airports so all of the buildings shimmer like crazy no mater how much AA you use. GA 3 Upgrade is coming out in a few weeks and it looks better so I might buy that one, but in my opinon don't buy GA 1 or 2...instead get something they offer that is newer....like Corfu or Stavanger...as those sceneries look a lot better.Cheers

Hi Julian, I was using the same Driver and thank you for the advice, I went back to the newer version because of BF3 and a few other things. However, don't you think the Photo Real ground textures look very gray? Do you think you can post of few overhead pictures of one for the German Airports 2 Airports and say compare it to what UK2000 Photo real textures look like? That would help a lot!Cheers

No problems.FPS is very good. One Mega airport that is my favuorite would have to be Munich. For some reason, they got that one right. Good FPS and one of my fav airports.
