Tried it

Featured Replies

Well I tried, some aspects looked nice, not for me though, I crashed into someone in multipayer and got an award "crashtastic" or something like that. Anyways that pretty sums everything up for me.

Wasn't that a lot of fun?

I have one positive- The thing runs really well without spending months tweaking. The negative- Looks like I'll be flying a 6 year old simulator for at least another six years. The positive about that- Maybe hardware to run fsx perfectly will be available to the mainstream by then.

Well, I've been really balanced, and positive about it all so far, but if the above is true, that is so cheap on MS's part. I really hope that awards, however arbitrary, are not given for crashing into things .........

Same here. Ive given it a good workout but am afraid it seems headed alongside other titles parked on my pc ocassionally seeing the light of day. Having said that, I normally don't save demos and there being no way I'll be spending a $ on it in its current form, I am not so sure anymore. I could of course leave it for my wife to 'play' seeing that my previous attempts to get her interested in flightsim ended in her either getting too worked up about landings or plain restless in other phases. But again, she said Flight looked 'cartoonish'. Guess that would be the straw that breaks this camel's back....I honestly do believe however that Flight would make for a worthy 'Xplane for iPhone/iPad' competitor.Sam

It's a good hawaii ga sim, with graphics that are much more '2012' than any you will be able to tweak from fsx.Why would you let a random achievement put you off flying the sim? Just ignore them and don't chase them if it's not your cup of tea. And make sure you at least try the hawaii dlc, the vans and a good selection of airfields on the various islands before you throw it away.
