Hi today I did a flight from Melbourne and the runway was dry and it should have been wet??? Why wouldnt it load a wet runway it was showing rain though. Especially with live weather?Any help to load a wet run way would be good cheers Wayne

Make sure You have the correct time in FSX for a rainy time there. Next, check, if AS2012 download the same date and time (could be checked in METAR string - this is documented well in the end of the manual if You do not have the knowledge to read it already). If all is OK, check the interpolation details in Wx Briefing page. It could be all the neighbor stations report CAVOK and there is no weather data at Melbourne (which I doubt, it should be no interpolation)

If it was raining and the runway was dry that it not a fault of AS2012, REX, or any other weather program. The fact that the runway and/or taxiways were dry is a function of the airport you are using and the way it was built by the developer. If you are refering to an ORBX airport, I think it is due to the way they do their ground polys which make wet runways not show. I have a lot of ORBX sceneries and from what I remember most of them dont get wet when it rains.
