Hello, I'm new here. Had an issue I was hoping someone ran into that could help me with it.About 9/10 when I perform a "job" from an airport, be it cargo or sightseeing, whatever, when I land at the airport, it just sits there.The couple of times it worked, I landed it was *bang* mission complete.Other times it just prompts me to "Approach and Land" or "Return to Airport". I land at the airport, I move to the destination, but nothing happens. I go through the checklist to turn the plane off, hell, I've even gotten out and walked around. If I had crashed, it would have told me mission failed. Maybe my landings aren't "great", but still, I'm on the runway with no issue.Am I missing something obvious?Thanks,Mr. Bildo

You must touchdown and land on the runway, then slow while on the runway. If you are even a foot off on touchdown, it won't trigger. It can be difficult on the small dirt strips for sure. I know it's frustrating when it happens. After a successful landing, you should be directed to park the aircraft. After shutting down it should end correctly.If this isn't what is causing this problem for you, then I'm uncertain what is going on.

OK, that helps my sanity a lot! :) I just wasn't sure if it was my crappy landings or I was missing something during shutdown.Now that I know it's a matter of landing better, I can work on that.Thanks!

I did the RV introduction and landed before the treshold, on the grass (the old guy shouted not to do that again). Still, the mission was completed (though XP was low ). I never had a mission NOT ending with the results screen, so if the plane just sits on the tarmac and nothing happens... that's odd...

I had a landing challenge not end for me. I had to take off and land again for it to end properly. I may have over-shot a trigger or something.

Is it possible to do any jobs without buying planes ? Or i can just do 4 mission and find some AEROCACHES and that's all in free version ?

Unfortunately, no. You need a bigger plane for the cargo jobs or when transporting more than one passenger. I do not have the Maule, not sure it's my cup of tea. Would love to see another cargo plane like a Cessna Caravan or something.

The missions (from the missions link on the map menus) probably won't have the issues where you have to be sure and be exactly on the runway. The jobs however do.
