March 3, 201214 yr is it possible to use dual screens to play microsoft flight and have dials on one screen and the flight view from cockpit on a second or something along those lines?thanks

March 5, 201214 yr My experience thus far, unfortunately, is no.Flight uses virtual cockpits or VCs exclusively so there are no 2D panels to put on a separate monitor. In addition, full screen support seems limited to a single display and I haven't been able to get it to span my three 1080P monitors for a panoramic view. (Although doing so may hit my FPS so much as to make it unplayable. Still I'd like to try!)Windowed mode might allow you to resize the window to span across displays but I haven't tried it yet. Regardless, what you are looking for, one display for outside visuals, and another for instruments, just isn't possible in Flight.WildBill Edited March 5, 201214 yr by WildBill813
March 5, 201214 yr I agree, there is no support for 2D panels or instruments on a second monitor. But you can span the display up to 3 monitors if you have an ATI/AMD card that supports Eyefinity. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 5, 201214 yr If you have a monitor that can be rotated 90 degrees into a portrait mode, then you can play the game and be able to see ahead of you and pretty much all the controls at the same time. I'm not sure I recommend it, though. You get very little in the way of peripheral vision.
March 5, 201214 yr I'm using two monitors. MSF in the main screen in windowed mode and things like Plan-G or Aivlasoft's EFB or just some jpg on the other screen. I keep the keycodes up a lot on the 2nd monitor til I can quit hitting some of the FSX keys.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
March 5, 201214 yr How are you using the second monitor? When I start MSF my second monitor just goes black.
