  1. Thanks I will check it out. It sounds a little bit more hardcore than I currently want but you never know unless you jump :) I'll check it out as well thank you.
  2. Hope they keep the game fresh and interesting then if they want THAT kind of attendance.
  3. I know when I stream I use twitch or justin.tv I was specifically looking towards Microsoft Flight but I will look at the FSX videos. I assume I just google that? I figured most people wouldn't want to help in-game and thats why I thought a stream would be nice. You just do what you do and people can enjoy your flight. That way you don't have to babysit someone when all you wanted to do was fly.
  4. Those are some really great pictures Bobsk8.
  5. How hard would it be to put that in? ( I don't know anything about programming) and does every airport have one? ( I am not a pilot sorry if it is a dumb question. When I fly I'm to scared to look out the window to notice anything but my imminent death.)
  6. I am a casual flight sim player who has no prior knowledge or experience with flying real airplanes. I don't own the expanded version of Hawaii or the Alaska DLC but I sure do have a fun time enjoying what I do have so far! My question to the community is: 1. Do you know anyone who streams themselves playing Microsoft Flight? 2. Do YOU stream Microsoft Flight? Please post a link here! I would love to see someone who has the expanded content and the knowledge of flight who just does their thing while allowing others to watch. The pilot could throw out little tips for anything he/she does and why they do/have to do what they are doing e.g. so they don't die! That way people like me, the grounded, can experience game areas and game knowledge that isn't possessed yet. Let me know your thoughts on this or if it was a dumb idea. P.S. I ask this because other games I play (D3, LoL, etc...) have HUGE stream followers where one person will have 20,000 people watching them just play their game. This allows me to see different ideas and to pick up new tips if I don't have the skill or knowledge to figure it out on my own.
  7. Oooh, looks great! Can't wait to check it out in-game.
  8. The U.K. might be sad to see Wales break away and float across to Alaska, but I would pay extra for it in game!
  9. Ah I figured it meant General Aviation but I didn't know what planes were involved with the "GA" title. Thanks for clearing that up and I think if I am ever around pilots I will just keep my mouth shut so I don't refer to the wrong "crowd" as GA.
  10. Two things: 1. Please post the pictures so I can see them! 2. Please don't tell me how awesome it is because I can't buy it yet!!! P.S. I will experience this vicariously once you post the photos :D
  11. Sorry to throw this noob question out there but what is "slow and low GA"?
  12. This kinda feels to me like I paid $7 for the Red Tail skin since I already have a p-51. Wish I could get a different plane for free but it is nice to see that MS is reaching out to its customers a little bit and allowing us to experience some more planes. Just needs a cockpit :) still a blast to fly though.
  13. I got kinda excited for this until I realized it is just like the Mustang. Any word on if this is worth the 7$? I kinda wish it had the cockpit though :(
  14. I can't wait for Alaska to come out and with the new pictures being posted I can't help but get more and more hyped up!
  15. I'm glad I read this post. I never got out of the aircraft because I didn't think there was a reason to do so. Now, I realize I was wrong and can't wait to go looking around of foot. Only concern thought is the mentioned "damage." How do I know how much damage I have sustained or does smoke starting showing and physical wear and tear?
  16. Haha silly me. I even OWN the Mustang and I saw that picture and thought they did mean only external pictures. So my first reaction was "Of course! They only have external because they don't have a panel!" Then reality hit me. Now I feel foolish.
  17. Peonage88 is my gamer tag. I am not always on but when I am on I wouldn't mind flying around with a few people!
  18. Splash screens are designed to be very pretty and to take your mind off the fact your game is loading. Most games have a separation of the splash screen and the actual in game content. The screen does look very pretty.
  19. I personally have nothing to add of value to this post, however, I would like to thank alain for smiley face getting burned because I haven't laughed this hard all day!
  20. Trevor, the issue will be with your GPU. Make sure you have the latest drivers and think about an upgrade. You could find a decent upgrade for $150. Sorry to hear the DLC wasn't all you wanted but hopefully you can get an upgrade soon and enjoy the finer points of Flight!
  21. Grats on going as high as you did though. I hate being so close but so far at the same time *literally* I might just have a go for it tomorrow out of sheer mulishness.
  22. I hit 38,500 on the Mustang before I went for the achievement but I get bored trying to hit 40,000. I can't imagine trying to hit 80,000 in the Mustang. I feel like they have content ready to go but just want to space it out so people don't get overwhelmed. I imagine the DLC for the 80k will be coming shortly... I hope! I like this new content!
  23. Still waiting to see some of the more "illuminating" effects. Are there any actual storms in-game or was it just supposed to be hinted at through the clouds? Would be nice for the ambiance if the game did have actual lighting. I imagine it would make for some big challenges :)
