Nothing like those pitch black approaches....especially if you hand fly them. Autopilots are over-rated...:(

Thanks chaps! .... no video yet.I was just struck by how one has to trust one's instruments in the blackness.If the mods do not mind I would like to add this pic for purely edjumicational purposes. :biggrin:You might think 9700ft a fairly safe altitude..... but I am flying in from the NAKURU VOR towards the NGONG VOR, Apt Elev 5330ftNGONG.jpg
