March 6, 201214 yr In that screenshot it looks like a 68 knot tailwind, and a "speed" of what looks like 85 knots. I guess that means that Flight shows IAS not ground speed, otherwise you would not be in the air. If its a head wind as some have claimed (and speed is reported as IAS) then you are only traveling at about 18 knots (ground speed) Edited March 6, 201214 yr by desbean
March 6, 201214 yr That's definitely a tail wind. I've tested wind direction on the ground to make sure the arrow points in the same direction the wind is blowing, and you can see the windsock as well. Hud shows IAS.I once got into a weird situation with an 84 knot wind in the Icon. One time glitch, I'm guessing.
