No vspds

Featured Replies

I would like some help with this. On occasion I set up everything as per the first tutorial and despite vspds appearing when clicked on the takeoff page the PFD shows no vspds. I cannot fathom out why this is happening and it is now becoming frustrating as I cannot see what I am doing differently from the times when it all goes smoothly.Thanks.

Do you have the runway selected on the FMC RTE page?

Don't forget to activate (EXEC Key on FMC) the PERF INIT Page after completion, there must be a "ACT" in the headline on FMC when you're ready.

Thanks chaps - all good sound advice but that was not the cause. I believe I have sorted it - the OAT was showing as -69 degrees (or something like that) and altering it to the correct OAT of +9 killed the no vspds message. So - what causes that wildly inaccurate temperature variance to show?

AS gave problems with OAT in some cases, but I cannot tell you if it is the cause.
