March 7, 201214 yr I'm currently trying to practice instrument approaches with FSX. If I stuff up an approach I would idealy like to just reset the aircraft to an earlier position on the approach rather than have to start the entire flight again. Is this possible, if so how do I do it. FSX on Windows XP Pro x64. Intel i5 2500K running at 4.5Ghz, 16Gb ram Nvidia 9500 1Gb Graphics Card. Tileproxy now working. Saitec Yoke, Pedals and Quadrant.
March 7, 201214 yr Use the semi colon key and name your flight so you know what it is. No limit to how many of these you can have.
March 7, 201214 yr Or use FSUIPC registered Auto-Save and set what intervals you want. Then from Load, choose which Auto-Save you want. There also used to be another program to Auto-Save in FS2004 which more or less without FSUIPC did the same job. Rick Almeida

March 7, 201214 yr Use the SAVE function In the FLIGHTS menu.+1.Works very well, in fact I have the save key mapped to a button on my joystick, if I am about to make an approach that looks iffy for whatever reason, I will hit that puppy and know I can reload from there anytime I need to. Don B
