March 9, 201214 yr Has anyone found a good reference for the RV-6 panel, as implemented by Flight?I haven't, so I've started my own, so far just the 6 less-standard dials. One dial is stll incomplete...CheersKeith ...
March 9, 201214 yr Cool! Any idea which temperature the gauge above the manifold pressure is measuring? John-Alan Pascoe
March 9, 201214 yr Yes, nice work. Cool! Any idea which temperature the gauge above the manifold pressure is measuring?I think its an engine temperature scanner.Link to one I have seen http://www.aircrafts...jpi_scanner.phphere is another link http://www.1mileup.com/links.asp?CatId=156Anybody knows how to read EGT or how to adjust Mixture on this aircraft? Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 9, 201214 yr You can adjust the mixture by pointing at it and then scrolling the mouse. But its a slow process. I have a Saitek stick/throttle combo and have now assigned the mixture control to one of the rotary controls. Almost instant control...
March 9, 201214 yr Anybody knows how to read EGT or how to adjust Mixture on this aircraft? As it is now you (or at least I) can't lean the mixture. Well, you can, simply pull the lever back but there is NO way to find out what the best setting is because there is no EGT gauge and you can't hear the engine change sound, not until you are below 20 and you are too lean of peak at once. Moving the mixture lever between 100 and 20% simply has no clear effect... I did notice that when skipping during a mission, the mixture is changed automatically, so appatently there is something going on in that regard but you simply can't measure or check anything. BTW That automatic mixture sometimes lets me fly with mixture at 25%... Does one ever get so low in real life...?

March 9, 201214 yr Does the RV-6 miss an A/P like Maule ?You are correct. No AP for the Vans RV-6A model we got in Flight. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 10, 201214 yr it's sat there in the Maule, just waiting for the devs to make it work  JAKE EYREIt's a small step from the sublime to the ridiculous...Napoleon Bonaparte
