I can see in the awards list that there are awards for rescue missions yet I do not find any on the jobs board apart from the kayaker rescue normal mission. As such my rescued people counter stays at 1. I immensely enjoyed the kayaker rescue mission and also one of my favourite FSX addons was Rescue Pilot. Has anyone managed to do some rescue missions besides the default mission or is this maybe something that they would ad in the future?Appreciate your views,Alex

I only know of the one, but that probably means that at some point there will be more. If for example they added a helicopter in Flight, it would probably have an Air ambulance or Coastguard paintscheme with it too so then I reckon, abit like the Maule and the cargo missions that the helicopter might have a few rescue missions if you went to the job board for example. Maybe the Alaska DLC might have some rescue missions, like find some missing hunters etc

I hope you are right. I would really love to do rescue missions in bad weather landing at awkward places, etc. At some point I believe everything there is an award for will be part of flight and that includes normal passenger transports with bigger aircraft as well as there is an award for 25,000 passengers flown...

When you load a mission or what ever there is the loading screen which display various tidbits of info- one of those makes reference to some aerocaches being accessable with a helocopter. This would lead me to believe that helos are oming, just a matter of when.

Sorry, but what do a static glider and helicopter have to do with a discussionof the likelyhood of more SAR missions??That's equal to assuming that;as Hawaii has so many trees modeled there willsurely be a "Lumbercamp" DLC.RBSorry,Stephan; just getting tired of these trolls.

There are...realy.... this 2 models, the glider and the heli, inside the Flight. But you cant use them.For those who want to confirm its existence:the Helli: CoreContent.pak SceneryObjects Vehicles Air VEH_Air_Blackhawk_ARMYthe glider: CoreContent.pak SceneryObjects Vehicles Air VEH_Air_Schweizer2and may well be part of rescue missions as static decorative objects.

The Blackhawks are parked at the ramp in Hilo. And the Schweizer2 is parked at Dillingham.They are both static objects.

The way I see it, MS has created themselves a fantantastic foundation for future expansion. For example, I believe one of the awards is to transport what... 1,000,000 passengers? So I think the available awards provide a lot of hints of what's to come.
