Is there any way to shorten the pre flight from 30 minutes?

You can use the fast forward button.

When I try to click it nothing happens.

Make sure the FO isn't in one of his flows when you click it.-stefan

Be sure to click the number directly... it says "Wait" it means the FO is doing a flow as Stefan mentioned above.You cannot fast forward while the FO is doing a flow.Cheers,
