March 27, 201214 yr Ted those are great frame rates but to be realistic 3150x1680 is a long way short of X3 Dell 30"s at 7680x1600.Even DocHammoc is only two thirds there at 4960x1600.gb. YSSY. March 27, 201214 yr Author Thanks for these inputs. My hopes are rising again, and maybe the new GTX680 will have a role to play. But taking a step at a time I will receive a new Dell30" this week, and I'll see where to go from there. Regards Frank Jones
March 27, 201214 yr Quick update. The links from Manny and SoftTH solved my performance problems!!! It allows you to run in "virtual surround mode" but you don't need threes monitors of same resolution! It was easy and it works perfect with fsx if you have win7. Amazing and simple idea.
March 28, 201214 yr Author Doc - That's even better news. I am looking forward to trying this. I may be back to check with you, later. Regards Frank Jones

Its really exciting to hear that its working for you.I would be happy if it works in virtual mode.. thats pretty much what I need. from inside the cockpit. But could you also tell us the parts that don't work. What if you in non VC mode, whats the issue then? I am just curiousManny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
