March 19, 201214 yr Greetings! When I play back a flight in FSX, the outside view of the flight is very choppy - similar to using very low frame rates.Any ideas why this is the case ?I usually play back a landing for 60 seconds to evaluate it. Thank you, Iain WilloW (YMHB) flaps2approach.comB737-800 simulator
March 19, 201214 yr Iain,Hope there are some answers to your question as I have the same problem and have no idea why the replay is so jitteryregards
March 19, 201214 yr Author Hi Fly - I've messed about with a few settings, but nothing seems to change the frame rate on replay. Hopefully someone with more technical experience will chime in and help us :) WilloW (YMHB) flaps2approach.comB737-800 simulator
March 19, 201214 yr The way to fix this is to watch the replay in spot "locked" view. This should get rid of the jitter.

March 19, 201214 yr Hi Iain,If you look at the top menu bar you will see the view menu. From that menu you need to select view mode, outside and then locked spot. This seems to make replay watching much smoother. I hope this helps

March 19, 201214 yr Simply hit S then A on Your keyboard. You will have outside view, but not a 'free camera', rather fixed position to Your plane. That way it will not jitter back and forth. Bartłomiej Ender

I see you can use spot as you would normally, then when you do a replay of the approach lock the spot mode and any jitterbugging is gone. Thanks again. March 19, 201214 yr I still get the jitters even in Locked Spot. The only useful (free) tool is FS Recorder - good for several things. Try it out.Chris David
