March 25, 201214 yr Author Hello again,Well, I never did install the RXP gps IN the panel but always used is as a popup only.Reason... the gauge is gps is just too small to manipulate (and to look at).Of course, that is my opinion only.Today, I did a new test and I tried to install the gps IN the panel. Without much succes I have to admit.Framerates still take a dive (although not as steep as before) from a stable 30 to a still flyable 20/22 in Melbourne (ORBX).But It is a step in the right direction.I don't have to go to the office tomorrow so I will try to experiment some more. One thing I tried again this morning on my system is a sure wayto failure.... Using the carenado installer. It works but it makes the gps unusable (framerates drop to 6 or 7...).It has to be something I do wrong but I can't figure out what it is.Oh well, maybe I am getting too old for this.Luc BrusselmansBelgium
March 25, 201214 yr Well that is no fun!It looks great in the panel!//--------------------------------------------------------[Vcockpit02]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=256,256visible=0pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$C530_GPS_Ngauge00=rxpGNS!GNS530 ,0, 0,256,184And, assuming you have the rxpgns.ini file set to popup=xxxwhere xxx is the same value as the ident= of the popup window in the panel.cfg(typically 15531), you can just click on the GPS in the panel to pop up the window Bert
