FS Captain

Featured Replies

Bryan, I have issues running FS2Crew and FSCaptain together. When i install both, then I cannot click on any section of the VC. If I uninstall FSC, then I can run FS2crew. If I deactivate FS2Crew then I can run FSC.I read about panel issues with FS Passenger. Am I facing a similar issue? Can you guide me through any steps needed to fix this? Thanks in advance.Jose

Hi Jose,I assume FSCaptain add extra panel windows to the NGX?There's currently an issue with the NGX and adding too many extra panel windows... PMDG is aware of it and looking it. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. The solution to your problem is to use a Joystick/Keyboard button to open the Main Panel from the VC.This is documented in the manual.Best,

Jose.I have FsCaptain and works without any problem with Fs2Crew/NGX737. How did you installed FSCaptain?

Ahmet, I just used the installer for FCOM. Selected the plane (in my case the 700 WL) and that's it. It modifies the panel.cfg but I cannot make it work together with FS2crew. I cannot click in the VC at all. Do you have any other way to install it? Manually maybe? I appreciate any assistance...Jose

OK.1- install Fs2Crew2- Open Simobjects/Airplanes/PMDG 737- 800NGX/Panel/panel.cfg (700 WL panel connected to 800 panel)3- Under [Windows Titles}copy/paste" Window27=FCOM" (26 should be Fs2Crew Berifing Panel)4-Under [Window00}copy/paste" gauge18=FCOM!FDR,1,1,1,1" (gauge17 is belong to Fs2Crew}5-Go to allway down to {windows26}copy/paste[Window27]size_mm=380,320position=8visible=0ident=24477gauge00=FCOM!ACARS,1,1,380,320Go to "Virtual Cockpit"Under [VCockpit01]copy/paste"gauge03=FCOM!FDR,1,1,1,1" (gauge 02 is belong to Fs2Crew)THat it is all. Save Panel.cfg file. Start the FSXMake sure, before start backup your Panel.cfg file. In case you have some other problems.FSX use Ctrl+Shift+6. Where FCOM should be located. That is how I solved my problem, I hope it will solve your problem also.
