WINGVIEWS

Did these for my IFDG A320 - add to the VIEWS section of your panel.cfgNOTE: you will have to change the -15 values to fit the particular aircraft - it moves your viewpoint fore/aft.I like these because my normal cockpit eyepoint and views remain unaffected - You activate the views using ctrl-shift-numpad 1 and 3VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=34VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_ZOOM=1.00VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=-3.0, 0.2, -15.5VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 90.0VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=35VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_ZOOM=1.00VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=4.0, 0.2, -15.5VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 270.0you may also need to change the window numbers to values other than 34 and 35, depending on your existing panel.cfghope this helps regards,Mark

Does anyone know what config to use for pmdg 737?thanxPaul.

For the PMDG, the following lines on the non VC panel work great. I adjusted the lines so they work for both the -600 and the -700 and allow for seeing the winglets. Both the -600 and the -700 access the 700 panel folder. These views are accessed via ctrl+shift+1, 3, 7, 9 and you can add the 4 buttons at the base of the joystick to access them as well in the assignments menu:VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=37 // RIGHT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 90VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=3.00, -0.10, -16.50 // Adjust last value to move fore and aftVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_ZOOM=1.0 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=38 // LEFT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 270VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=-1.00, -0.10, -16.50 // Adjust last value to move fore and aftVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_ZOOM=1.0 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // LEFT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=12.5, 0.0, 228VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.0, -0.10, -4.00 // Adjust last value to move fore and aftVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_ZOOM=1.0 VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // RIGHT ENGINE VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=12.5, 0.0, 133VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=1.0, -0.10, -4.00 // Adjust last value to move fore and aft VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_ZOOM=1.0Lee

I find I use rear view and the rear-right, rear left very seldem on the hat-switch. Isn't there a way to change those to wing views (or anyview you desire), as well?

I use the PSS panel with my iFDG Airbuses. It works great but you have to adapt the PSS airfiles to be used with the iFDG plane. Here is my complete views section I have applied to my panel.cfg for the great engine and wing views:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/70143.jpg[Views]VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANELVIEW_FORWARD_DIR=3.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_REAR_WINDOWS=33VIEW_REAR_DIR=5.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_REAR_ZOOM=1.5VIEW_DOWN_WINDOWS=37VIEW_DOWN_DIR=-5.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_WINDOWS=50VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_DIR=5.0, 0.0, 45.0VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_WINDOWS=51VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_DIR=4.0, 0.0, 315.0VIEW_RIGHT_WINDOWS=52VIEW_RIGHT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_RIGHT_DIR=2.0, 0.0, 90.0VIEW_LEFT_WINDOWS=53VIEW_LEFT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_LEFT_DIR=2.5, 0.0, 270.0VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_WINDOWS=54VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 135.0VIEW_REAR_LEFT_WINDOWS=55VIEW_REAR_LEFT_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_REAR_LEFT_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 225.0VIEW_REAR_WINDOWS=56VIEW_REAR_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_REAR_DIR=3.0, 0.0, 360.0VIEW_FORWARD_UP_WINDOWS=57VIEW_FORWARD_UP_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_FORWARD_UP_DIR=-20.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_DOWN_WINDOWS=58VIEW_DOWN_ZOOM=1.0VIEW_DOWN_DIR=20.0, 0.0, 0.0VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // RIGHT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 90VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.0, -0.50,-17.57 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // LEFT WING VIEWVIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 270VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.0, -0.50, -17.57 VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 // SEAT VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=11.0, 0.0, 228VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.0, -0.20, -5.40VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=42 // SEAT VIEWVIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_DIR=11.0, 0.0, 126VIEW_FORWARD_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.5,-0.20, -5.40Lee

Lee, I can get pretty much the same view just by going to the "non-existing virtual cockpit view", looking to the rear-left/right and moving the camera back as far as possible. (SHIFT+ENTER or CTRL+ENTER don

The very last set of numbers in each set of lines is the forward and back movement. Minus a larger number moves you further back from the eyepoint.I find those views really easy, because I've also assigned them to the 4 buttons at the base of the joystick for easy inflight access.Lee

The same formula applies to all panels. There are variations due to the different aircraft with different eyepoints and so forth. You just simply have to experiment.Lee

Actually, I think it will only work with non-VC panels. The default 737 is a VC panel isn't it? I never use it. There are so many better 737 panels out there. What plane do you want this for? Maybe we can find you a better solution.Lee

Well.. I have the a IFDG A320.. But no panel.. So it uses the 737 default one. If I go into the panel.cfg it simply says: "[fltsim]alias=b737_400Panel"I haven
