I realize this is probably not an FS2 issue, however, anyone who may have a solution to this issue please give me some feedback. I have tried numerous clean uninstalls/reinstalls, numerous liveries (including stock PMDG), numerous airports, different panel startup states, etc. I can take a very sucessful flight with FS2 and have a beautiful flight all the way to the destination gate. Ask ground to connect GPU/AS, get approval to shutdown eng. 1, mouse click the shutoff lever, lever moves but, eng 1 does not shutdown. Engine and spar valve lights are blue for both engines. Eng 2 is off. Even if I shift to a cold and dark panel state at the gate eng 1 continues to run. This leaves me unable to utilize the AES system for finishing the flight (no jetway or deboarding, etc.) Can someone please give me some ideas? I have posted this issue on the PMDG forum as well and am still waiting for a response. Thought maybe someone here might have some idea as well. Thanks for any help.

Pull the fire handle :Peace:That's a weird one... Hopefully PMDG knows... My only guess is maybe some kind of external hardware conflict.Try backing up your FSX.CFG and then deleting it. Maybe you've got some weird FSX.CFG edit that's mucking it up.

Just an update. Tried a 'repair' with the FSX Disc and ended up with 'Fatal Error'. Did a complete fsx uninstall/reinstall with all my scenery, airports, etc. Install only the NGX along with FS2. Took a short hop from KPHX to KLAS and......(drum roll please) SUCCESS!!! All systems go! (or no go as the case may be; i.e. shutdown) Almost afraid to install any other aircraft now that the NGX is finally functioning as it should. Anyway, looking forward to the SP1 release. Thanks for all the hard work Bryan. This version rocks!

Glad you got it solved! You don't need any other aircraft... NGX is the only one worth using at the moment :(

With the exception of the J41!......Ive had that plane a about a year and a half and have NEVER, I repeat, NEVER been able to successfully configure, takeoff, fly a route, and land until I purchased the voice control for the J41. If it werent for FS2Crew J41 Voice I would probably still be fighting it. What a load that takes off the user. NGX is till my favorite commercial aircraft, but the J41 is gonna come close now for overall favorites thanks to the FS2Crew for it.
