March 26, 201214 yr Heh heh, it's still cutting edge out here in the Red Centre! (although the Flying Doctor has got some shiny new PC-12s to replace the KingAirs recently; you don't realise how BIG a PC-12 is till you stand next to one!)Cheers, SLuggy I do not have a signature. Why are you reading this?
March 27, 201214 yr Hi Ian, Good luck getting your PC issues sorted out... There are a couple of "must have" texture packs in the file library for the Cheyenne by M. Verlin... He has a bunch of single paints uploaded - but - the easiest way to get them is in the two file compliations provided...Hi SLuggy, Yeah - concur - FS doesn't really convey shear size very well... On the ramp - even a Baron seems like a BIG plane... The PC-12 is downright huge - for those of us used to flying your typical Beech/Cessna/Piper SEL aircraft... I've messed with the AIG PC-12 - but - the flight model just seems a bit off... I don't recall the specifics - but - I had a real hard time getting it to fly the numbers while landing... It's a shame - because it is a beautiful model and I like the real plane a lot... Maybe I'll try trweaking it again... I could be wrong but the payware PC-12 for FS9 just didn't look as nice and I couldn't find any decent paints - so I haven't tried it...:)Regards,Scott

LOL Not that you ever saw an individual fly - there was always a huge black cloud of the bloody things! I remember the ground crew taking precautions to make sure they didn't get into the fuel tanks during refueling.... Good memories of some great adventures ferrying aircraft to and from SE Asia "back in the day." (Some of the memories involved "pub crawls" during lay overs - those are very vague memories indeed!!!) :rolleyes:Cheers mateIan
