March 25, 201214 yr I have noticed that on many occasions while in a multiplayer session, I can hear some people speaking and they can't hear me (broadcasting over the "All" channel and not a specific frequency).Other times they have reported not being to see the text messages I am typing in game.It is very odd because nothing changes in my configuration between sessions and it switches between working and not working seemingly at random.Has anyone else seen these issues?I have tested by microphone to be working (and getting good clear playback) using the Windows Live! tools.
March 25, 201214 yr There might certainly be a radio/text BUGPoint in case, yesterday when you joined Bill’s game, we could neither hear you nor see your text.Often some guys drop into my game so I text some welcome and get no response or they just dismiss it.Could be they are not seeing my text too?But I’m afraid it would take a bunch of us some serious checking before we can go and post it as a BUG. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 25, 201214 yr Author I think I may have figured the problem out, I'm about to test it now. There is a function called account management in the "Home key" Live! Drop-Down menu. It brings you to a web page where you can manage more options about privacy. Apparently, I was configured to only communicate with friends of which none of the people in the Honolulu Hanger Race where. Now it has worked on occasion, and I believe most of those people are friends. I'm going to bounce into a server and try now.UPDATE - That fixed my problem.
March 25, 201214 yr Good to see you got that worked out Dave! And nice tip for others that might run into the same... Don B
March 26, 201214 yr I think it is also possible that in particularly laggy scenarios, you may stop hearing global chat. Radio-only seems to still work, but I've lost people over the course of a single session and that seems to be one of the few possible explanations.
