Boeing or not going

Do SAS 737NG's have airstairs?

Recommended Posts

No. I don't think so.

The SAS NG:s are hard to configure since they have many versions. SAS has airplanes from Braathens, SAS Sweden, SAS Denmark, SAS Norway and maybe a few more, that brings many options but none of them have airstairs (as far as I know)Manfred

Ships are cooler that you think.

Okay thanks. For some reason the PMDG with the panel config has airstairs as enabled. I didn't think that was right.
Any option where I didn't know for sure got left at PMDG defaults...

The cockpits are the same between what was SAS Norway and Sweden (Denmark didn't have any 737's) the airline differences was pure bean counter stuff, but the exBraathens NG's have a few differences. Like no hud, different callouts, no AOA display are the things I remember right now.

Ok, all info I have is from a quick talk with the pilots when I was a passenger. Don't fully remember everything. Could you get more information about exactly what equipment SAS planes have?Manfred
