March 27, 201214 yr Author I wanted to fly multi-crew too, so here my 2 cents.About the mouse: I tried it a couple of years ago and I'm sure MS created a SDK for it. There was a company which I forgot the name of. It worked alright-ish; 2 pointers no problem, but simultanious clicking was not good. The company went out of business but there is a chance is was taken-over by an other company.Maybe this one?http://www.multimouse.com/This is the easy part. Now yoke and throttle, that is -in my opinion- a whole other game. I think the best/easiest chance you have with this one is to connect each set to a separate USB hub with external power supply. Use 1 of both sets. The monitor is quite simple: just use a VGA-splitter or duplicate the windows of your graphics card. (2 outputs required).Bert Van Bulckthanks mate, i will sure try it! definitely, thanks. Daniel choen
March 27, 201214 yr I think the easiest setup would be 1 system & 2 chairs, one for the pf & another for the pnf. You can move the pnf chair to the right or left, depending if you're the cpt or fo. March 27, 201214 yr Some time ago I wanted to do the same and I found this software called Betwin here is the link if you are interested:http://www.thinsoft....betwinvs64.htmlBut it is worth to say that I just have been seen multimouse software, and this has caught my attention. But I think that the problem is that each person must have a computer. What I am sure is that with Betwin each person can work with only one computer. Jorge Escobar.

March 27, 201214 yr 2 monitors showing different parts of the same cockpit, no problem. You can open multiple virtual windows into the cockpit, either 2-D or 3-D, as I'm sure you know. I'd consider 3 monitors, actually: one in the middle with a common view that does not change, and one on each side that can be moved around as the pilots want. Multiple mice: no problem but only one will have control at a time - there is only a single cursor, as discussed. Yoke and pedals: not sure but it's worth trying. MS Windows should see them as separate HID (Human Interface Device). If it does not, try different brands or models for each user. Like on an Airbus, though, if the 2 pilots do different things at same time, results may not be what you want! One option if you have the $ is to give one user something like the HOTAS Warthog. That user controls the aircraft with hardware buttons, and let the other user click on virtual buttons with the mouse. The throttle cluster goes in the middle, just like on the real aircraft. That way each user has a "self-contained" experience without having to coordinate beyond the flying itself. The trick to all this is that PMDG and Windows "think" that everything is being done by a single user, who just has a lot of input devices operating. Be sure that you have enough fully powered USB ports on your computer - using a USB hub may not work well. Recent motherboards have up to 10 USB ports, which should be enough. Let us know how it works. Then add TrackIR, and if that works use 2 TrackIRs. :(
March 28, 201214 yr Author LOL... the final row, yea i will try it at 31st march, and will let ya know, also i wonder where i can get the 3rd monitor, thanks! Daniel choen
