There is no descent checklist in MS Flight... Whats a good setup for descent? Vs / rpm / airspeed / throttle? Also wonderIng if the airspeed displayed is ias or true air speed?

The instrument on the panel and the HUD both display IAS.

Carb heat is a must on many situations and prop aircraft like the Stearman... Don't recall if it is available in FLIGHT (was in MSFS 10 and prev. ).

if it's on the Stearman, I've missed it - is it a key command I'm unaware of?not that I've encountered any problems with NOT applying it - just like to fly "by the rules"

Thanks for answers, its always fun to try to perfect all phases of flying :) The 3-6 rule was very handy. However the standard cabin rate is 500 feet/min in airliners. Will "grandma" complain if I do 1000 feet/min or isnt it very noticable?Thanks-

I can feel it but it isn't uncomfortable at 1000. you can plan it for 500 :)
