March 31, 201214 yr Damn, I forgot the NGX SP's wipe the liveries out of the aircraft.cfg files. Forcing a SP1c re-install just wiped a couple hundred liveries out of my NGX aircraft.cfg files. :angry:Serious advise - make backup copies of your NGX aircraft.cfg files BEFORE you force a re-install SP1c !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Hmmmph:Now, where in the hell are my weekly backup files.... :( Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
March 31, 201214 yr I reintalled SP1c only and it not wiped the liveries. I launched Livery manager and installed them again. All liveries that I downloaded before were in livery manager folder. So for me it wasn't a big problem. Gregory Verba
March 31, 201214 yr Author Yea, I can see that way too - but for me, I don't keep the Livery installers lying around - they're stored in a zip archive on another drive. So in my case, to ensure all the currently installed livery subfolders are once again tied to my aircraft.cfg file, I will restore my aircraft.cfg from a recent backup. Either way works. March 31, 201214 yr Commercial Member Forcing a SP1c re-install just wiped a couple hundred liveries out of my NGX aircraft.cfg files.Sorry!!!I'll amend my instructions."Re-installing SP1c is highly recommended but optional."I had to basically force people to re-install it because a lot of people didn't have it installed, or it was not installed right, etc., and it generated a lot of support issues. In fact, 90 percent of my support issues from Version 1.0 were associated with people not having SP1c installed, or not installed correctly :( B.
