April 2, 201214 yr After I updated today, I found this in the start menu: Redeem code. It says that you can enter a code, either from a store or a digital retailer....... Comments anyone......? Goran Arvnell
April 2, 201214 yr Saw it too, thanks for the tipoff! See my post just now though. Redeem? Gift feature? Xp rewards to be converted to redeem credits? Just plain redeem yourself?? Simmo W, Melbourne, Ozhttp://www.youtube.com/user/id5556
April 2, 201214 yr Author Hi Simmo W As they mention retailers I think that they will "open up" for game shops as many of them have a lot of downloads, so why not buy Microsoft Points from them and give them a small profit? Every coin counts..... Back and check your findings Goran Arvnell
April 2, 201214 yr Its like Xbox Live, you can buy MS Points in some retailers like MaximusCards (http://www.maximuscards.com/) and then put the code to receive your M$ points in the game.
April 2, 201214 yr That's just for redeeming download tokens, like Microsoft Points cards. You can find the cards in retailers (7/11 carries them in the USA, plus electronics stores and big box retailers), or buy the codes directly from Amazon. You also get codes through some promotions like Bing Rewards. You can probably redeem other LIVE download tokens there too, but I can't imagine that being too useful within Flight. Things like Zune Pass, Xbox LIVE Gold, Xbox LIVE Arcade games, and DLC for various Xbox 360 games can be bought as tokens just like the points, but it's obviously more prudent to redeem those from Xbox or Zune instead. Game developers often get tokens they are allowed to give out that give players free DLC for their game. Rock Band often has little contests for song packs, and Flight can do the same thing with aircraft or scenery packs.
April 2, 201214 yr Discounts for the ones who earned high XP points would be a classy move therefore I seriously doubt MS will take this way.
