Hi Larry. That is the panel for weather radar. On the EFIS that is the left button (WXR) for activation. Works only with PMDG A/c and ASN (Active Sky Next) combined to get the weather radar to work.

Sorry for my late reply, catonthemat. I am still waiting for a reply and action from Simtech Design as they gave me a great offer which was more than expected. No yoke yet, but promise that it will be shipped later and waiting for their action.

I´m also waiting for my PFC Cirrus Saab yoke from Simtech Design............

FSX runs ok on my rig with all ad ons, tuned and so on. But I had a problems, Nights: Stars Close to the horizon, not faded away closer to the horizon. Seen it? Moon. Okay moonshine. Yupp, not to consume but the effects in the cocpit. Bright as in daytime, You follow? Stripes at night in the sky. Well, hate to see the night sky striped. Horizon bright, next a new layer of more darkness and so on until darkness. What did I do to to fix this? Don´t know if it works for you if you hav the same problems, but this is what I did: Downloaded Autostar X (freeware) and installed it (some problems, but use Google and it´s solved). Downloaded HD Moon textures (also free) and got rid of the moonshine in the cocpit. Works for me so I am happy whith the result.

And 109.9 as stand by in Nav 2 so you can switch over when established on the ILS if you are planning to do autolandings. Otherwise, no need to change Nav 2 for a "standard" ILS landing. Goran

Hi. Having a high end rig I was thinking of more "tuning", did I miss something? After a clean install,, is there anything more to do? Tweakes done, testings, fine tuning......it works......But? Saw a tip here at AVSIM about Process Lasso. Why not try it? I did, and after following "how to" my FSX runs better under heavy load. And this was the free version. Thinking of Pro version now to get an even better result hopefully. So, anyone else using it? Benefits? How to tuning it? or a no no? Regards Goran

Hi Try this. Close the spoiler axis and add some trust. It works with the default B737 as far as I know.

Hi You only need two buttons, one primary and a secondary. As Byork says, hearing the crew talking. You run the whole flight as captain and the first officer will act as per your commands (flaps, landing gear and a lot of other things). Of course, you have to do some work, as captain. Check FS2Crew Web site and how the Main Panel works. I just love it. Goran.

Well, You must install at least FSX service pack 2. If You get FSX Acceleration (some more A/c and missions), You don´t need service pack 2 as Acceleration covers service pack 2. Like this: SP 1 and SP 2 at least, or SP1 and Acceleration. SP 1, is free and Acceleration is not (don´t remember how much). Regards Goran

Thanks for the tip about SPAD. Hope I can get my Saitek Fips working again.

If you get the EZDOC camera you can put a cam wherever you want. Default you get some cams inside and utside of your plane or heli and more... Google for it, you can find some great videos explaining. It´s a must as addon for me. Regards Goran

Water cooled GPU? Sagi wrote CPU instead of GPU,I guess. Check if your GPU´s (videocard) cooling is working, guess you have the problem there....

This is a common problem with Saitek quads...and yoke, I should add. It is all about the pots.....need to be cleaned. And that means you have to open the quad, even the covers of the arms inside, to be able to clean the pots. it´s useless to spray from the outside, believe me, I have tried. It is some complicated, but someone made a tutorial which I found on the net. I don´t remember where, so do a search. Funny, just some days ago I did the fix for both my quads, and now its time for the yoke! Hope this will fix your problems, mine works like new.
