Poor little thing, I feel kind of bad (and I'm not a cat person).

 

Gives a whole new meaning to a CAT-1 approach :-)

I noticed that the cat was actually "inside" the wing's fabric (nylon?) cover.

Unlike the text says, it appears to me those people are both passengers. If he were the pilot he pays very little attention to the runway, both on TO and landing. And he jumps out while the plane hasn't even stopped, lol. Luckily the cat is safe.
